6 ways men can style their turtle neck this winter

When winter cold creeps in, lots of outfits emerge.

Trying to balance the need to look good and the need to shield cold creates room for different ways to style winter outfits.

A popular wear that becomes popular during the winter among males and females is the turtle neck.

Turtle necks has been around since 1960s, but was known and popularly worn as sweaters, covering all the clothes worn inside.

It was more or less like a cardigan mainly to shield cold.

But in the 20^th and 21^st century, turtle necks has turned to be a trend in the winter.

 

and everyday, new styles are emerging so I have taken my time and compiled a list of styles which you can try with your turtle necks

 

 

1.Turtle necks and denim jacket

 

I’ve always been a fan of denims, you can check my list of outfits you should have for the Christmas holiday
 

and you would equally find denims.
 

because they are clothes which you can turn to when you don't know exactly what to wear.

Denims are tough, easy to style cloths that can be worn with any outfit.

 

Turtle necks alone are thick with high collar. Denims are also rugged thick wears.

 

 Combining both would definitely shield you from the cold, and also give you an astonishing appearance.

You can wear them with a blue jean trouser to match the denim jackets, or you can wear a black pant, chinos trousers, they also go well ripped jeans (what doesn’t go well with a ripped jean)

 

Boots, sneakers are also nice footwear’s you can wear with this outfit, you can also add other accessories like head warmers, baseball cap or a hat to look more fashionable.

 

2. Turtle neck and camel jackets:

 

This also is another cold shielding outfit.

Camel jackets are thick long jackets that are mostly light brown colors, they are more or less like coats because of its length.
 

Combining this two wears produce more of a street appearance than corporate, and as such is usually worn by street enthusiasts.
 

Styling this outfit is also not difficult, as a boot, sneakers or flip-flops for a stroll.
 

You can wear this outfit with any trouser of your choice, be it jeans, chinos, pants or even shorts,


as they all give the outfit different feel and appearance, so its left to you to choose which one you prefer.

Personally, I prefer wearing a black turtle neck with camel jackets, as this mixes the light color of the jacket with the dark color of the turtle, making all color balance.

Finally an outfit that can be worn in corporate or official environments.

This outfit to me, is one of the most popular turtle neck styles worn by guys.

Combining the turtle necks and blazers is more or less like wearing blazers on a t-shirt,

 just that this one is more pronounced because of its higher collar compare to the t-shirt.

Guys  wear this during the harsh winter cold, so instead of wearing the normal shirts and suits,

 they mind their health, yet looking fashionable with the amazing outfit.

Turtle necks and blazers goes well with chinos, jeans and pants,

which means picking a footwear wont be difficult, as boots, sneakers, Italian and English shoes are a perfect fit.

This is yet another street outfit.

Turtle neck combined with overalls is not a popular outfit among guys.

But the combination of both clothing gives a pleasant appearance.

This outfit is not for those that follow the trend, but for those that creates their own trend.

The combination of both wear gives another astonishing appearance

This is a freestyle street wear that makes you look less serious and more casual.

When trying this outfit, it’s advisable to use a red and black check shirt, and a black turtle neck.
