We all know that timberlands own one of the best and durable boots, their quality, style and design is unmatched
But what do you do when you don’t have enough money to
purchase them, or when you are tired of the same style or brand
Timberlands are known to be the number one and most popular
boots, and their reputation has made the popularity of other boots decline.
There are lots of superior and inferior boots that can be
purchased, and so
These boots are also popular, and can serve the same purpose
as the timberland.
Here they are
1. Caterpillar Aka Cat
This to me is the second most popular boot, that is quite as
rugged as the timberland,
It’s water resistance, and rugged feature makes it a
staple in factories, field works and in street.
The front of the boot is hard enough to protect your feet
from shock.
Its sole are relatively thick and made of rubber for
protection from field hazard, as they are impenetrable by nails and other sharp
objects
If you like to dress in style, caterpillar also has boots
are equal to the task, all you need to do is look for model that soothes your
desire.
It comes in different models, and can be gotten for as low
as $79,
2. Sorel
Personally I haven’t gotten a Sorel boot before, but I have
close buddies who has more than a pair of them.
If you like your boots rugged and less fanciful, this is the
right choice for you.
Trust me I have seen
better when it comes to beauty, but when it comes to ruggedness, endurance and
durability, this ugly monster parks them all
Though they have some models that look fanciful, but they
still have the same rugged features, and cant be compared to other boots like
Caterpillar or timberland when it comes to beauty.
An example of the Sorel boot is the Men Ankeny mid boots, to
me this is one of their fanciest model, unlike its other beast relative, I can
wear this for fashionable outfits.
Sorel boots comes in different models and prices but
You can get a Sorel boot for about $95

3. Wolverine
This is more fashion inclined than other boots on this list
This wolverine boots looks fanciful, still maintaining the
rugged nature of a boot.
I’ll say the wolverine boots have lots of features in common
with the timberland. Its designs, structure, and look are alike with the
timberland.
As a matter of fact, the first time I saw the wolverine
boot, I thought it was the timberland
The wolverine boots also have the water resistance feature,
thick sole, and comes in leather and suede models
My favorite models are the men’s Dura shocks waterproof
insulated 8” boot and men’s chainhand waterproof 6” boot
You can get a wolverine boot starting from $69
4. Kodiak
Kodiak boots are relatively expensive, and also have lots of
similarities and resemblance with timberland boots.
Ruggedness and water resistance are features which Kodiak
boots also have
Unlike the Sorel, the Kodiak can also be worn
for fashionable outfits, but unlike the Sorel and wolverine, the Kodiak is expensive.
The least Kodiak boots goes for $109, but the Kodiak boots
would definitely give you a run for your money
A particular feature which you would like about the Kodiak
boots is that they are light weight, so you don’t feel fatigue in your leg over
time while you are wearing the boot.

5. Truman java waxed flesh
This is the most expensive boot on my list, it is out in
stores for about $540.
Just like every other boot on my list, I like its rugged
look.
But the Truman java waxed flesh, brings beauty to ruggedness
to achieve a beautiful appearance. Made from a process called waxing,
The shoe also has a water resistance feature, so you don’t
have to be scared of wearing them out in the rain or in marshy areas
The major reason why I don’t really like the Truman
javawaxed flesh is because of its lack of collar,
To me the collar gives a kind of comfort to my legs, so if you don’t
like boots that does not have collars, then you wouldn’t like this piece, but
aside that this boot is awesome.
Though some of people complain that excessive wearing of
this boot would lead to the peeling of its so called waxed leather,
and what
need would it be to spend so much on a piece that wouldn’t stand the test of
time,
and since the waxed exterior makes it water resistance, that means
excessive wearing of the boots would reduce its water resistance capability.
But if you a person that likes to change your boots
frequently or has enough, so as not to wear a boot for so long, then this one
is good for you.so far you are over stressing it.
